The Old Course (A & B Courses), originally built in 2003, was comprehensively redesigned and renovated in 2006, reopening for play in 2007. Following its transformation, the course was extensively planted with trees lining the fairways and turfed with Zoysia grass, creating a style distinctly different from the Links Course. The Old Course is now widely recognized as the most challenging golf course in Tianjin.
